OSHA VPP Star Site – Autovation Hillcrest Plant

  • August 3, 2017

Since 2004 the Milliken Autovation Hillcrest Plant has participated in OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) and has just completed it’s fourth recertification. A VPP site needs to be recertified every three years and the OSHA team was very positive about the improvements made since the last recertification in 2013.

Milliken takes the safety of its employees very seriously as approval into VPP is OSHA’s official recognition of the outstanding efforts to achieve exemplary occupational safety and health. Safety in the workplace is a core Milliken value that drives our efforts to build a zero-injury culture and responsible manufacturing practices.

A VPP Star site recognizes employers and employees who collaboratively demonstrate exemplary achievement in the prevention and control of occupational safety and health hazards the development, implementation and continuous improvement of their safety and health management system.

Congratulations to the entire Hillcrest team for making a strong culture of safety at the Hillcrest Plant!
